Description

Micro DCC power bus wiring starter kit for small DCC model railway layouts which can be fitted above or below baseboard level that requires the user to solder the droppers to the power bus.

The components supplied have been specially selected for those modellers whose layout is less than 5m in length, and only requires a maximum current rating of 4 amps or below.

We have included in the micro kit lengths of 24/0.2 power bus stranded wire making the kit suitable for all scales of model railway layouts except 7mm scale layouts that may require a higher power current.

You will be required to solder the dropper wires to the track, the droppers to the bus wires and the two components of the termination filter kits together.

Also supplied in the kit are pre cut lengths of red and black heat shrink that can be used to insulate and protect the soldered joint. It shrinks to a ratio of 2:1 when heat is applied with shrinking starting at +70degC and totally shrunk at 115degC.

Small plastic P type clips are supplied that can be used to secure the wiring to the baseboards. These are slid onto the wiring and are held in place using small wood or self tapping screws which are not supplied.

These easy to fit and easy use DCC wiring starter kits come with basic instructions on how to use the filter kit components.

There is also a sheet that contains the model numbers of any additional items required to make re-ordering additional parts easier.

A) 5m of 24/0.2mm black cable which is rated to 4.5amps.
B) 5m of 24/0.2mm red cable which is rated to 4.5amps.
C) 2m of 16/0.2mm multi core black cable which is rated to 3amp.
D) 2m of 16/0.2mm multi core red cable which is rated to 3amp.
E) 30 of 30mm lengths of black and red heat shrink tube (15 black and 15 red). Model Number 215-165.
F) 10 x 4.8mm plastic P clips. Model Number 212-100.
G) 2 x DCC termination filter kits. Model Number 218-006.
H) 2 x 3 way small terminal blocks to allow easy connection of the termination kits to your bus wires.
I) 1 x 2 way large terminal blocks to allow connection of your DCC bus wires to your controller wires.
J) Termination filter and connector instructions.

Delivery Options

Please be aware that there may be import duties/taxes to pay on non UK orders before the carrier will deliver the parcel. Most postal carriers will also charge an additional handling charge for this service. We cannot advise how much these charges will be but will generally be charged at the declared value of the order at the counties tax rate.

Here at Railwayscenics we believe that most modellers want their items quickly. Therefore, orders placed before 09-00am on a working day, will usually be packed and posted that day where possible. Where this is not possible then items will be posted the following working day. During busy periods there may be a delay of a day or two to these times. In any event, all orders will be posted within 5 working days and delivery should be completed within 30 days.

All of our shipping costs are calculated based on your basket content weight and the basket total value including any taxes. Therefore as you add or remove products from your basket, the delivery charge and the delivery methods available will automatically update to those that are available. We believe that this is the fairest way to calculate postage and packaging costs.

Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We do not post items out on weekends or holidays.

We offer a wide range of delivery options from Royal Mail, and a Courier. Signatures will be required on some delivery options but this is mentioned in the checkout system.

All items are stocked in the UK and will be shipped from the UK.

Once your items have been posted we will send a confirmation email to your registered email address. Any tracking information will also be included in the email. Royal mail delivery times will start from when this email is sent, and courier delivery times will start when the courier collects the parcels from the drop off point and initially update the status of the tracking.

Returns

Railwayscenics operates a 14 days return policy. Please contact us before returning any items either by email or phone.

To be accepted for return on this basis, items should be returned within 14 days of receipt. Provided the goods are returned to us in the same condition as they were received, we will arrange the refund within 14 working days.

Any Goods returned after 14 days as unwanted or incorrectly ordered or unauthorised may be accepted at the discretion of Railwayscenics but will be subject to a minimum restocking fee of 20% of the invoice value of the items or £10, whichever is the greater.

For damaged or faulty goods, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt and we will advise on the course of action to be taken.
