Railwayscenics offer many choices when it comes to making a payment to us. It is up to you which method you decide to use. Any of the methods below can be selected on our checkout page. Below I have written about each payment method and given the payment procedures for each.

We have added a new card payment provider to the website. Several customers said they did not want to use PayPal for what ever reason, so we added Stripe.

Making a payment using Stripe could not be easier or more secure as it now includes Strong Customer Authentication (SCA), and most major credit and debit card types are accepted.

We never see your card details and they are not saved to our systems at all.

You do not need to have a PayPal account, or need to sign up to PayPal to use the checkout on our website when choosing this option.

You will be taken to a secure payment page where you enter your personal and card details and payments are automatically taken by PayPal. You can use most major debit and credit cards and for security we never see your card details.

Please ensure that you return to our store once you have made your payment.

By using PayPal you are covered up to a maximum of 500-00 pounds if you choose to use a recorded method of delivery. Virtual products (downloads) are not covered by PayPals Buyer Protection Policy.

Direct bank transfer (BACS)

We now have the facility on our website to allow payments to be made by Direct Bank Transfer. Our bank details will be sent in the order confirmation email, so ensure you have access to the email account you used to create the account.

If you choose this method of payment please ensure that you enter the bank details correctly as Railwayscenics will not be held responsible for any incorrectly entered details.

Your order will be sent once we have received notification from our bank that a payment has been received, and not before.

This payment option cannot be used to pay for downloadable products.

Cheques/Postal Orders

We no longer accept cheques as a method of payment. This decision was made because our local bank branch closed, and travelling to the nearest branch takes too long. Sorry.
