Colour changing RGB 5mm water clear LED with inbuilt chip which causes the LED to flash red, green and blue individually for several seconds, then slowly mixes and fades the colours in combination to produce a rainbow sequence.
Colour cycles in about 33s before restarting.
Colours change at a frequency of 1.5Hz.
These LEDs DO require a series resistor which is not included, but are available separately. The resistors listed below are the minimum required for safe operation.
If operating from a 9v DC supply use 100R Model Number 228-501 carbon film resistor.
If operating from a 12v DC supply use 150R Model Number 228-502 carbon film resistor.
If operating from a 16v DC supply use 270R Model Number 228-504 carbon film resistor.
Cathode or negative identified by shorter lead.
