These are the ideal connector for connecting rail drop wires to bus wires on DCC layouts. This red connector is suitable for our use on all of our wire apart from the 7/0.2, which is too small
and the 1/0.6 wich is solid core.
These red Scotchlok type connectors make a quick in-line splice connection without cutting or stripping the cables. Unique insulation displacement design is perfect for model railway DCC track bus applications.
Scotchlok type insulated connectors are used to quickly connect a (tap) wire end to a through (run) wire and insulate the connection providing a fast dependable electrical connections without wire stripping. Just place over the wires and squeeze with a pair of pliers. Once the connection is made, close the insulating cover.

It is not advised to use these connectors with our 1/0.6 solid core cable due to the nature of the connection type.
