Download folder.
A new file structure is
now included with all downloads. We hope this will stop some of the comments that we are receiving
that when customers print the models onto paper there are pages that they do not
need, or printed onto the incorrect paper. Each folder now contains at
least two files. The first is the templates pages. These should be
printed onto ordinary quality paper, and stuck to thick card. The second
file contains all the texture sheets. These should be printed onto good
quality photo matte paper. Instructions are also now in PDF format. This does make the
download a bit larger, but we will see if it works, and if people like it, we
shall alter all our current models.
This new file structure
has receive many positive comments from our customers, and will now be included
in all of our scale models. Thank you for the positive comments.
Signalbox
We have nearing completion
a model of a type1 or 2 LSWR signal box. It will be available in LSWR and SR
livery. We are currently struggling with a method that can be used to
produce realistic looking steps made from card. Once we find a
satisfactory solution, the model will be ready.

Farm buildings
Our range of farm
buildings are progressing nicely. We have completed the design, and have
made the first prototype model. There are some alterations needed and
these are well under way. Below are some images of the completed model.
Some of the textures may alter before the model is ready to be uploaded.
This model is one of several farm buildings that have been designed. Along
with a small farmhouse we have an open store shed, a closed store shed and this
stable. We are thinking of adding a dairy, but we shall see what the
response to these other models is first. In the first instance the model
will be released in 4mm ft OO scale, and will later be scaled down for other
scales.

Engine shed.
The engine shed model is
now downloaded and complete. It has taken longer than
expected, but we do hope it will be worth the wait. It will be
available in 4mm "OO" scale, in a dark red brick texture finish, with a slate roof..
We will add more brick and stone finishes when time allows.
The model has taken longer
than we had hoped to get to the final release stage, as we had some problems
with the method of lengthening the model, should this be required. We hate
seeing joins in the paper texture sheets used for our models, so we therefore
had to come up with a way to allow the model to be lengthened without a join.
The walls were easy, but how to make the roof look good. We decided in the
end to modify one of the ends, to allow a wall section to be added, whilst still
keeping the inside of the model open.
This model is being scaled
down to 2mm (N), 3mm (TT) and 3.5mm (HO) scale and will be released shortly, and
will be released in other brick and stone textures.

The station.
We have altered the
station building and it is now going to be part of a modular station building.
The first part that we are going to complete is the station ticket office,
waiting room and side offices. This is a model of a small brick built
station which could be found on many branch lines. This model is nearing
completion and we are currently creating the PDF files for the download.
We are then going to produce a small platform waiting shelter, which is also
nearing completion, before completing the model with a station masters house.
Once all the models are complete we intend to rescale the model, and also
produce it in various texture finishes.

Water tower.
Our model of a brick built
water tower is now complete. Files have been uploaded, and it is ready to
download. It is a fairly easy to build kit, and gives a very good
representation of a small tower used on most branch lines.
Additional detailing should be added. The first model matched the dark
brown bricks used on our engine shed kit. A separate texture sheet is
available to allow you to make modifications to our model to suit your needs.
We are soon to release this model in other texture finishes, so keep looking.

Radstock
We are currently working
on a range of buildings based on those at Radstock. These are for
our own use, on a demonstration layout we are considering making. When
they are completed we may release them. We have all the plans necessary
and currently have started on the single and later twin road engine sheds. We are also
designing the coal mine complex. This is being done for our own model that we later to display at
various exhibitions just to show what can be modelled in card.

Brick paper sheets.
We have been busy
designing new brick paper sheets in all of the scales. We will be
uploading them slowly over the next few months. We have also added some
new sign sheets in the larger scales. These include modern road signs,
site safety signs and some railway travel posters. We have just completed
a sheet of interior detailing for 7mm ft modellers. This sheet includes
items to add detail to the interior of buildings. There are pictures,
rugs, fires, fireplaces, and things like that on one sheet.
New scales.
We have had many comments
from people that model UK layouts but in scales other than OO scale, that there
are no models for them. Some have tried to rescale our models by printing
at a different size, but have lost the quality of the original.. We are
therefore starting to release some of the models and paper texture sheets in
other scales. We are producing texture sheets and brick papers on 2mm ft,
3mm ft, 3.5mm ft and some in 7mm ft. As time allows we are planning to
release models in all the scales. It does take time, so do bear with us.
New models.
We would like to know what you, our customers,
would like to see models of. We do not really want to supply the same models as other companies, as
there needs to be a large range available for people to model. If you have any ideas or suggestions,
please contact us using the contact us form. Please remember that these models will be made out of card,
and therefore need to be relatively simple to make. If we like your ideas, and we can find plans of
your suggested building, we may decide to model it.
