I started Railway modelling so long ago, its a job to remember when it all
began. I have always been interested in scratch building models.
In the last few years I have come to realise that computers can be a great
help in the hobby. I have used computers to draw wagon and coach sides
which can be used as templates to make models. Recently I decided to see
if one could be used to make a complete model of a building. After a lot
of searching I found all the programs that were needed not only to produce a
plan of the models, but to produce all the printed parts required to complete
the model. We have built several models now, all which are used on my
railway layout in the garage roof. They have lasted this far in damp and
heat and still look good today.
After all the hard work that went into designing the models I thought it may
be a good idea to produce these models to allow others to use them if they
liked. There are very few companies that supply cardboard models to the
general public. Some of the ones that do, have been selling the same
models that I first bought as a youngster.
What is needed is a new way for people to purchase these models, and the
internet supplies it. All of our models can be downloaded once, and built
as many times as you require. We not only sell the models, we also supply
a range of single sheets that will allow you to customise each of our models.
We will also be soon adding parts made from plastic that can be used to complete
these models, such as gutters and chimney pots, although these are available
from many suppliers.
We also supply a range of road signs, metal advertising signs and pub signs,
that can be downloaded.
Eventually we will be in a position to supply these already printed onto good
quality paper, and in the future printed on the material ready to be cut out and
assembled, but that is in the future.
All models come in a PDF zipped format. In that file there are two
folders. One for the instructions, and one for the model itself.
